Abstract
In this article, I will review the UFF’s response to the decentralization of the Florida Board of Education in the Spring of 2001, a decision that left the history of the nine UFF bargaining units in jeopardy, with a specific focus on how the GAU launched a reauthorization card drive and on the way developed an organizing culture.
